I’ve decided to become somewhat productive during time when I cannot be productive towards my actual work. I will post here lyrics of JPop songs that I like along with the guitar/piano chords. I also like to put both kanji and romaji versions of the songs. Deciphering the kanji serves also as an exercise for me. Maybe someday I’ll pick up Japanese again, and try to translate things (yeah, right ).

Note that the chords given here should always be taken with a grain of salt. Why so, I hear you ask. Well, I tried to capture the bass movement as well and all the small detail. Usually, the actual musicians will not play such complicated chords and use combination simple ones to make it sounds sophisticated. Anyway, when you see the guitar chords, simplify it before you try to reproduce it, ok And one small tiny detail, I don’t have any instrument at my disposal, so I’m only approximating things based on my hearing. I do now have a second hand Eb guitar (cannot tune it to E since the strings look rather fragile ), but I still mostly rely on my hearing.
